Idle Workforce,
now in Ecuador.
We’ve established a full-time company in Ecuador, run with partners who live and work there. The same people-first approach to AI automation, now delivered on the ground, in Spanish, by people who know Ecuadorian business from the inside.
A full-time company in Ecuador. Run by partners who live and work there.
Idle Workforce Ecuador is a locally established company, not a remote office. Our partners on the ground facilitate Idle Workforce services across the country: the buy-in workshops, the hands-on training that teaches teams to build their own AI agents, and the first automations we build together.
Ecuador isn’t new to us. Yanina has led People functions across Latin America and has appeared on national television in Ecuador as a commentator on workplace and HR topics. A full-time company with local partners lets us serve Ecuadorian businesses properly: in person, in Spanish and in their time zone.

The method doesn’t change. What changes is who is in the room with you, and how easy it is to get started.
On the ground.
Discovery sessions, workshops and training delivered in person by partners based in Ecuador, not over a video link from the other side of the Pacific.
In Spanish, in your time zone.
Your team learns in its own language, with examples drawn from how businesses actually run in Ecuador.
Deep operations know-how.
Between them, our partners have spent nearly five decades inside warehouses, plants, distribution centres and supply chains, which is exactly where repetitive work piles up.
The same method, start to finish.
Discover, align, build together, enable. The same people-first approach we use in Australia, backed by the full Idle Workforce team.
Operators first. People who have run the work we automate.
Wilson and Cesar have spent their careers inside Ecuadorian operations, running warehouses, plants, distribution networks and the teams behind them. They know where the hours leak, because they’ve spent decades closing those gaps.
Ecuador partner, 01Wilson Bazurto
Logistics × distribution operationsWilson has spent 25 years running the physical side of business: distribution centres, warehouses and the transport networks between them. He has held responsibility for everything from zoning, receiving and dispatch through to billing, customer service and carrier subcontracting, and owned the numbers that go with it: OTIF performance, area costs and budgets.
He has led operations teams of around 550 people, managing warehouse, distribution, transport, billing and maintenance managers along with the supervisors, coordinators, forklift operators and loading crews who keep goods moving. With Idle Workforce, he helps Ecuadorian businesses find where automation can take the manual load off their logistics and operations teams.

Ecuador partner, 02Cesar Medina
Supply chain × AI trainingCesar is an industrial engineer with 22 years in supply chain and sales, spanning planning, production and inventory control, purchasing, distribution and logistics. He began his career at Unilever Andina Ecuador as Head of Industrial Engineering and then Supply Planner for Home Care, where he was part of the team that implemented SAP. He has since led businesses as a general manager, and today runs Einudema S.A.
He is also a teacher, which matters for how we work. Cesar lectures in logistics at Humane Business School and, since 2021, has taught supply chain and artificial intelligence programs at IDEPRO, including purchasing, supplier management and warehouse management with AI. He builds AI agents himself, which makes him a natural fit for the Idle Workforce approach: teaching teams to build their own.
