Privacy policy
Last updated 24 October 2026
Idle Workforce is a trading name of The School of Attraction Pty Ltd (ABN 50 145 223 696), based on the Gold Coast, Queensland (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information through idleworkforce.com and in running our business. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. What we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and do our work.
- When you book a call, contact us, enquire about a workshop or register for an event: your name and email address, and, depending on the form, your phone number, company, job title, role level, team or department, company size, industry, country, preferred contact time and anything you choose to write in a message.
- When you talk to us by email, phone or video call: the content of that conversation and any notes we take.
- Basic technical information: when you submit a form, our server uses your IP address and browser type to create a one-way anonymous code, which we use only to block spam and repeated submissions. We don’t use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this website.
- During client engagements: we may work with personal information held in your systems, such as staff or customer records. We access it only as needed to deliver the work, and our agreement with you governs how it is handled.
We don’t ask for sensitive information (such as health, religious or financial details). Please don’t include it in our forms.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange calls.
- To run workshops and events, including confirmations and reminders.
- To prepare proposals and deliver and manage the work you engage us for.
- For invoicing, record-keeping and meeting our legal obligations.
- Occasionally, to send you updates related to your enquiry or event. You can opt out at any time by replying or using the unsubscribe link.
We never sell or rent your personal information.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the services that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Google (Google Workspace and Google Sheets), where we store form submissions and email.
- Resend, which sends our form notification and confirmation emails.
- Our website hosting provider, which runs this website.
- Google Fonts: this website loads its fonts from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address when it does.
- The video-call and scheduling tools we use to hold meetings with you.
- Professional advisers, such as our accountant or lawyer, where needed.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
4. Information stored overseas
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose established providers and take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
5. AI tools
We use AI tools in our work. We don’t enter the personal information you give us into any AI service that uses it to train its models. Where an engagement involves your organisation’s data, we agree with you in writing which tools may be used and how.
6. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls and two-factor authentication on the accounts that hold it. Only the people who need it can see it. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires (for example, financial records for five years), then delete or de-identify it.
7. Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@idleworkforce.com. We’ll respond within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first.
8. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, please email us first and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business changes. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
